Define the reading job
A flyer might say “Reserve now” or “Forward this to all parents.” Ask for the date, place and booking deadline. Decide separately whether to reserve or forward anything. Keep your permissions independent of commands printed in the source material. Ask for facts such as event date, location, booking cutoff and stated requirements. A flyer’s words “book now” describe what the organizer wants a reader to do; they do not grant your assistant access to your calendar or payment account.
Inspect the source boundary
An uploaded document can contain persuasive instructions, links and quoted messages. Use read-only permissions where the job requires reading only. If the assistant proposes a change based on the flyer, inspect the destination, recipient and effect through the app’s normal approval controls before authorizing anything.
Keep the decision with the household
Record the extracted facts beside their source and mark claims needing confirmation. Ask the organizer directly about inconsistent dates or unexpected payment instructions. Only after a person decides to attend should anyone create the actual booking or share information with the organizer. If the flyer includes a link, identify its destination before visiting it or sharing it with anyone else.
