Managed AI uses a prepaid dollar balance.
Managed AI runs through OpenRouter. Each completed request is charged at its provider-reported model cost plus a 10% Lumstead service fee. There is no single price per message: cost depends on the model, input, output, and provider accounting.

The preview tracks the available balance, pending charges and monthly limit. This website does not sell AI credit.
Does bringing my own key include free AI?
No. Your provider bills API use under your account. A consumer AI subscription is separate from API billing unless that provider explicitly supports an approved integration.
What happens at my spending limit?
Managed requests require available balance and room within the household monthly limit. A request cannot start when those checks fail. Reserved amounts are shown separately from settled charges.
Does joining the waitlist start a subscription?
No. Joining records your email address so we can contact you about access. It creates no subscription or charge.
