Choose an operation that needs a current response

Open a practice note at home, then switch the phone to cellular and open it again. A cached page can look successful even when the server is unreachable. Change the sample note from another device and check whether the phone receives the updated text. Write down the old and new values so you can distinguish a fresh response from a familiar screen. If the new detail appears only after switching networks, test the route that failed again.

Run the network comparison

Confirm the phone’s account and configured server address. Open the sample on home Wi-Fi, then turn Wi-Fi off and use cellular data. Repeat the same operation and record the error or current value. If it succeeds on Wi-Fi only, investigate the intended remote access route before changing account permissions.

Keep a safe boundary

Do not expose a private service to the public internet simply to make a test pass. Use the remote-access arrangement the household operator intends to support. If access away from home is not configured, label the service home-network only and keep essential travel information in an appropriate offline copy.
