Give the first meeting a location and a window

At a fair, “the ticket office just inside Gate B from four to four fifteen” is more useful than a pin placed somewhere near the entrance. Check the organizer’s map together and identify the side of the ticket office where you will wait. If anyone needs step-free access or supervision, verify the route and keep a named adult responsible. Keep a written copy where each person can find it without a signal.

Set a second rendezvous everyone understands

Make the second rule exact. If you miss each other, both return to the ticket office at four thirty rather than wandering to different gates. For a child or another person needing supervision, keep an adult responsible throughout and follow the venue’s collection procedure.

Plan for a place that becomes inaccessible

Choose the fallback before anyone leaves: use the staffed visitor center at four thirty if Gate B is closed. Otherwise, the second meeting remains at the ticket office at four thirty. Check on the map that the visitor center is reachable without going through Gate B. Follow venue staff instructions if access changes. Without a rule agreed in advance, two people may independently choose sensible alternatives and still never meet each other.
