List the job before the technology
If the main problem is that nobody can find the agreed grocery list, start with a shared list. If the problem is turning three notices into a plan with competing dates, try a model on fictional notices and compare its result with your own reading. Ask each adult to name one recurring failure. “We both buy bread” points first to ownership of a list. “We receive three notices and miss the conflicting times” may need help interpreting several sources.
Try the simpler workflow first
Use a shared list or calendar with an agreed owner for a week. Record whether the missed handoffs continue and why. If the problem is inconsistent use, a model may produce a polished answer from incomplete records. Fix the input habit before asking software to infer what happened.
Evaluate a model on a bounded example
Use fictional notices with one date conflict and one optional action. Ask for a summary that identifies both and names the source of each. Compare the time saved with the effort of verifying it. Keep ordinary saving and retrieval useful even if the household decides to skip model use.
