Try the actual guest workflow

Suppose the tablet will display a dinner recipe. Open the recipe from a guest session and check the screen after locking and unlocking it. If you cannot separate the sessions, use a printed recipe for that visit. Check whether the browser offers a recently used account when the guest opens a fresh tab. Do not rely on a private browsing tab to separate everything else on the device.

Check what survives sign-out

Use invented information during a rehearsal. Download a harmless sample attachment, sign out, then open the device’s downloads and recent-file views. Also look at the notification preview while the tablet is locked. An item visible there needs its own cleanup or device setting; signing out of the app does not address that surface.

Choose the simplest guest option

A supported guest profile gives the visitor a separate session. If the tablet cannot provide the separation you need, share just the recipe or event details on paper or on the guest’s own device. Restore the household session only after the visitor returns the tablet.
