Check the server address before searching again
Create an invented note with a distinct title on the intended server and check which devices can see it. Label the connection clearly on each device. If two copies of a household plan already exist, decide which is authoritative before transferring or editing either one. A user can sign in to two installations with the same email and see different household records. Look at the configured connection on each device and verify which household each account opened.
Use a harmless marker
Save an invented note with a unique title on the intended service. Open it from the second device and change one word to confirm that both devices see current information. If the note appears on one service only, keep the two installations clearly labeled. Do not assume an automatic sync or a deletion.
Decide what to do with divergent records
If two plans developed separately, compare their sources and identify which one the household will maintain. Preserve information you are authorized to transfer and avoid copying another adult’s private notes into a shared workspace. Verify the destination before retiring an old installation or removing its data.
