Check the offer that belongs to your own account

Look for the exact title and edition through the account you intend to use. Read the playback button and nearby price or subscription wording. A film listed under a service's name can be included, rented separately, offered for purchase, or accessible through another channel.

Confirm the cost and time window before paying

A useful note says “Included tonight” or “Rental costs $4; household agrees to pay.” For a rental, read what the offer says about the period before first play and the remaining time after starting. Do not assume the conditions match another title or another service.

Choose what to do if access changes

If the title costs extra, tell the group the actual amount before confirming. Keep an included alternative ready. Check the rental conditions on the service itself if you plan to start tonight and finish another day.

If someone already has the film through their own account, check whether that account is legitimately usable for this viewing arrangement before promising it to the group. When the title is unavailable under the household's preferred conditions, move it to the longer watch list. Choose the verified alternative rather than opening several checkout screens during movie night.
